English is a three-level neighborhood pub & restaurant, located on historic La Salle Boulevard in River North, Chicago's premiere dining & nightlife district.
English’s interior was inspired by the Landmark building in which it is situated and the private clubs common in London. Signature design elements include walnut flooring, custom ironwork, Victorian wallpaper, handcrafted chandeliers and a collection of large vintage photographs.

Chef Radhika's menu features several new selections, including an expanded lineup of English pub grub, sliders, sandwiches and bar snacks -- plus all of your old favorites (Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash and English Crisps). New dishes include Lobster & White Truffle Mac & Cheese, with succulent bite-sized bits of meaty lobster in a Parmesan-Cheddar blend with garlic and truffle oil; Duck Confit Dumplings, with tender farm-raised duck tucked into deep-fried wonton crisps and served with a Bordeaux-spiked strawberry jam; Curry Mussels, meaty Prince Edward Island mussels steamed in a rich ginger-garlic curry sauce; and Shepherd's Pie, ground lamb with mushrooms, carrots, onions, peas and house-made gravy baked in a cast iron pot with a mashed potato topping.
The bar at English features expertly prepared signature cocktails and martinis, a variety of domestic and imported draught and bottled beer, and a skillfully crafted wine list.
